LadyHacks is a hackathon in Philadephia for women and those who identify as women. It is a welcoming space for new and experienced developers alike to experiment and collaborate on projects together. This was my second year co-organizing the hackathon, and, tasked with designing the event, I knew that it was important to give the website and identity a fresh look. I designed and developed a fully responsive website for LadyHacks, additionally overhauling the WordPress backend to be more organizer-friendly through use of Advanced Custom Fields and the Underscores starter theme.
